A random scream from deeeep in the psyche

I just spent SEVENTY DOLLARS filling up my tank!

Sonofamuffin! Gadzooks! Egad!

Please, dear Dubya, DON'T talk to the Saudis anymore! Or hold their hands and kiss them more, or something!

Ouch!
I'm fortunate: my commute is only 3 miles each way, and I go through a tank about every 10-14 days, so the pain is spread out some. Can't count on that for next year, though (RIF, looking for a new job).

I know it!

I drive an itty-bitty VW Golf, and I spent almost 50 bucks the other day to fill my tank. Like Mr. C, though, I have an itty-bitty commute (I can get there in about four minutes) and don't go through gas as much as some of my colleagues (and, like Mr. C., I'm looking for a new job as my school is closing). Still, it's approaching the point of "scary" at the gas stations. I have no idea where it will end...

Hi my name is bus driver and I drive a honda accord, and it cost me 52 dollars at the pump when i filled up. Almost 14 gallons. (GOD i sound like one of those self help commercials) Luckily i go through 1 tank every 2 weeks with my commute (7 miles round trip - i think) Its hard to budget for the rising price of gas when your spending 100+ dollars a month on gas going to and from work. I pay that much for health insurance every month!

Ha. You should try gassing up an F-150. I drive about 35 miles round trip.

I don't let it go below a 1/2 tank because the sticker shock would kill me.
